Founded around 990 AD during the Viking Age, Lund quickly became a vital center for religion, trade, and learning. The city’s medieval roots are still visible today, especially in the magnificent Lund Cathedral, which was begun in the 12th century and remains a symbol of the city’s historical significance. From Viking settlements to medieval scholars, Lund offers a fascinating glimpse into the past at every corner.

    We will start the morning at 9.00 with a “fika” (at your own expense) at Il Cafe d'Italia at Kyrkogatan 21. Feel free to join us there at 9.00 am or meet us outside the Cathedral at 9.55.

  • This event is free of charge – but please unregister if you are not able to attend. Thanks for your understanding!
